I purchased a second Heartwood 24w nightstand in solid cherry 3 years after I purchased the Heartwood bed and one 24w nightstand. The bed and room look more balanced with two nightstands. Although the first nightstand was quality, the second Heartwood 24w nightstand is even better quality. From the outside, the nightstands look identical, but the drawers are different. Most notably, the newer nightstand drawer has dove-tail construction and the material for the inside of the drawer is better quality, but I don't believe the inside of the drawer is solid cherry. Which is not uncommon with furniture today. The drawer on the newer nightstand also opens and closes more easily. The nightstand is beautiful and I get a lot of compliments on both the bed and the nightstands. I only wish that both nightstands had the same drawer.
