I searched far and wide for my new sofa, because I knew it would be a long-term commitment -- the sofa I replaced (also Room & Board) lasted 13 years. The Ian looks great (custom leather was so worth it), is comfortable, and a great value. The only thing I would have liked better would have been to have it a sleeper, still with the 90" length. Looking forward to 13 happy years with my new Ian.

I first fell in love with the Ian at the Denver retail location. When I sat in it I literally felt protected by its high arms. I also like how deep the seats are, while not swallowing me up like a child or midget. It could be casual or formal and I felt like it was a safe investment because we can move into many rooms and many houses and still make it work.

My husband and I purchased this sofa when we lived in a loft in downtown Chicago 7 years ago. Now we have two kids and a large home and this sofa still looks brand new. Over the years we have lived in ultra-modern spaces as well as more traditional homes. This sofa looks beautiful no matter where we put it. In addition, we've never had to worry about our kids doing any damage to this sofa. It is extremely durable.

The leather is high quality, thick and aging gracefully. I wanted the IAN because it was a good option if you live in an apartment and will be moving from time to time, it has a lower back. My only issue was the cushions, they are not supportive. I knew this when I bought the couch. I liked it so much I was willing to get the cushions replaced with better quality inserts. It cost me a little more but I am going to have this couch for a long time. I would still recommend it.

We replaced our very 90s scroll-armed sofa with the clean-lined Ian sofa. * The leather is really nice and easy-to-clean. * After a year or so, it's holding up very well.* The size works well for our small living room[...]My only reservations are that the seat cushions are still a bit firm after a year or so. The model we tested in the store was a bit more cushy.
