I use this as a computer chair. It is comfortable for a couple of hours but not for an extended period of time. I like how the chair fits neatly under the desk and blends into the decor without overpowering my other furniture items.

About a year after I purchased this piece, two of the wheels fell off of the chair. Upon closer inspection, I found the receptacles for the wheel assembly bolts to be stripped. They were obviously overtightened at the factory. This chair is made in China.

Nice chair, am using it for my work office, very functional for this purpose and looks great too. Easy assembly, I switched addresses halfway through shipping and they were very accommodating about the change. Ergonomic but not the most comfy for prolonged use, but I knew that would be the case from the get-go.

Service and delivery comments:

As I noted before, I had two chairs arrive damaged in the same way -- clearly due to the shipping/packing. However, the customer service was really good. They reached out to me and had a chair sent over on the delivery truck pre-assembled so it was certain that there was no damage. I'm very happy with it now. However, I hope they take a look at the packing/shipping practices to be sure other customers don't have the same problem.

I ordered one chair. It arrived with substantial damage to the seat surface caused by the arrangement of parts in the box. The replacement arrived damaged in exactly the same spot in the same way.

If I wanted a damaged item, I'd just buy it in the store down the road during a floor sample sale.

The damage on this chair is not as severe as the first one -- the scratches and dents don't go all the way through the veneer -- so I'm just keeping it. It's not worth the hassle of packaging it all back up (it's all packed in there Tetris-like, probably causing the damage) and having to take it to UPS.

Because these two items were damaged in the exact same location and manner, I strongly urge you not to purchase as it is likely systemic.

I'll probably hold off on online Room and Board purchases in the future.

Perfect chair for sitting comfortably at sewing machine and swivelling to overlock machine. Has a very clean, minimilist look which fits perfectly in a small space. Especially like the chrome metal base which is hard to find. Most office/desk/utility chairs have black bases.

Looks great and is surprisingly comfortable for moderate periods of time. It actually encourages good posture while at the computer. But, if you like a padded seat or have to sit for a very long time it can begin to feel a bit hard.
