This is my second Jasper slipcover. I like the cotton/linen blend much better than the cotton twill. It's much more polished looking, and it is wearing better. My one issue with both slipcovers, however, is that the seems are unfinished on the inside. For the price, I'd expect no loose threads!...

we purchased this product because we love our jasper sofa, but our kids were destroying it. the color is great and it adequately protects the sofa. my only complaint - if i had one - is it doesn't have a crisp fit. i suppose that's to be expected of slipcovers in general.

I bought the slipcovers for my jasper chair, ottoman, and 71" sofa back in 2006 and 2007. The slipcovers were nice but shrank over multiple washings/dryer time. Also the color faded over time. I would definitly get another slipcover but will know that it will discolor and shrink over time.

Update: After 8 months I am still happy with my purchase. I have washed my slipcovers several times, turning them inside out and following the manufacturers directions. They still look great and have held up well with two couch dogs, two older kids and a husband.

First off I've never written a bad comment. I'm more likely to write a positive comment.[...]The color was completely different than the sample. It's a washed out pumpkin color, about 3xshades lighter than the two swatches I picked up at Room & Board.[...] I thought I should try the pumpkin color slipcover and see if it looked better on the couch.[...]. While I was putting on the cushion cover I notice the seam of the zipper was ripped. [...]

This is a really nice option for a family room with pets. Our dogs love to sleep on the sofa. I look forward to purchasing more of these slipcovers. I can't have one made for this price!

I have several Room&Board pieces. Both my Metro and Jasper slipcovers lost a significant amount of color the first time they were washed. (I followed the care instructions carefully.)

After several months of wrangling, they were replaced. The second Metro slipcover is working beautifully and held its color well when washed.

Parts of the second Jasper slipcover (Danish Sky) have faded more than the first and it hasn't even been washed. The color change happens on the back cushion covers only. It's as if the covers are having some kind of reaction to the cushions inside.

It looks dingy and so have throws strategically placed over the faded spots.

I am very unhappy with the product.

(I'm an excellent R&B customer, I've purchased three couches, two beds, four mattresses, three bookshelves, two occasional tables, one dining table, one rug, three upholstered chairs, two ottomans, two eames chairs and several picture rails. And yet getting a slipcover replaced takes months of back and forth e-mails and hours of my time on hold. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to invest that kind of time again.)

Such a disappointment.

I just really like the design of the Jasper line. It is not so terrific that Room & Board decided to discontinue the muslim covered Jasper intended to be slip covered. Now, one must buy a fully upholstered chair and add the slip cover on top of the regular covering. Still, this is a terrific chair. The white is so apealing. The clean lines and perfect proportions of this chair make me happy every time I look at it.

Wanted a light colored sofa, but not so pratical with a toddler and a baby so a slipcover was a must. While I prefer the look of the Jasper Sofa without the slipcover, it serves its purpose of protecting the couch. Love that it is custom made for the couch so it fits nicely.

I love this chair. I have the aqua slipcovers - they wash well and the color is great. Most of our furniture is fairly traditional and this chair fits in perfectly. Would look good just about anywhere.
