Although this basket is well made and the background weave is beautiful in color and execution, the surface design is hideous. It looks like fat white worms have been pinned down randomly all across the foundation. Unfortunately, the sample photo R&B provided for this item is wildly different from the item I actually received. Very disappointed in my first R&B experience. (I have a wonderful basket collection and would never have considered this one if I'd seen an honest representation.)

I have a basket of my own and live in Portland, Or. The store where I bought mine in went out of business, but I remembered that Room and Board had them in their store when visited Denver. I contacted the store and the sales clerk was kind enough to send me pictures of various baskets at various prices. Valued her opinion and she arranged prompt delivery as a gift to sister in Iowa.
