I love the umbrella - its color, size, ease. However, it is only large enough to shade one chair. We have a little backyard, so size wise this was the one for us, but I wouldn't mind having a little more shade coverage.....!!

Love these umbrellas! We bought this umbrella (or the 2006 version of it) back in 2006 and it is still looking great. We decided we wanted a different color and made the mistake of buying a less expensive version from another large furniture store. It blew over and broke in several places within a week. Lesson learned, we just purchased two more from Room & Board. Love the tilt function - so easy to get shade right where you want it - and the 9 foot version provides plenty of shade. I originally ordered the 6 foot version and quickly decided I wanted the larger ones. No worries - a quick phone call to the store and within a week the awesome delivery guys came to pick up the smaller ones and replace them with the larger version, no questions asked.

I live in a New York apartment with a semi-private patio. We purchased the Emu 48" round table with four chairs. We added the Maui umbrella to add a dash of color and privacy. The brushed aluminum finish looks great. The umbrella is supported by rectangular brushed aluminum stringers instead of round ones found on other umbrellas. We also purchased the rechargeable light. It works great.

The Maui umbrella is perfect! The crank lift is easy to use (our previous umbrella took a body builder to handle it!)- just one hand to put the umbrella up or take it down. The tilt makes it easy to put the shade exactly where you need it & the 9' height keeps everyone from bumping their head on the umbrella,

This is our second Maui umbrella. The first met a tragic fate during a sudden windstorm when it was left up. We knew we wanted to replace it with the same umbrella as we loved the color, construction, etc. This time we purchased the smaller size. It is a better fit for use near a smaller table and chairs. It also provides shade and privacy from neighbors who might want to look down into our yard. The bright pop of color is unique and the color seems to hold its vibrancy with intense sun. It is easy to use and store and we'd highly recommend it. This size may also lend itself well to smaller decks and patio spaces.

This umbrella is very sturdy and has held up very well. It looks great - I was at first hesitatnt about the color, thinking it might be too drab, but it is perfect. The tilt is ideal for dinner when the sun is setting and is easy to use. The price is a very good value.

Delivery was prompt. We had a problem getting the base apart and the delivery people actually came back to our house and helped us. Everything arrived in good condition and they delivery people were very professional.
