The product is pretty good, but given that it is designed as a piece of "outdoor furniture", one would assume that R&B knew it would get rained on. This furniture line's wood warps when rained on, to the point where the nice finish fractures, turning a fine finish into a splitter-filled rough texture.
The problem is that they do not sell rain covers for this "outdoor furniture", which seems absurd to me. The furniture is really nice looking, so to just wrap some dirty plastic tarp over it, especially when the tarp doesn't fit the furniture, seems silly. That's my biggest gripe with this set.

Was a little bummed that it came with some white streaks on the wood like something was laid on it when it was stained. Noticed that after a week of rain it warped and then when the some finally came out it dried the wood out to cracking. Now I have to treat it on close to a weekly basis. Says that it's an outdoor table but keep it covered and out of direct light - WHAT? Oh well I still like it just should have read the fine print first!

Great outdoor table. Wood has so far stood up to a few spills, time will tell regarding durability. Looks great on deck (same wood as decking). Apart from cost no downsides! Looks graet with silver chairs.

I paired the Montego table with the Malibu chairs. They fit stylishly together on my Southern California outdoor deck. The lines of the table are simple and made clean and contemporary by the steel frame; the table top is made of ipe in a beautiful color and grain. The table is rugged yet elegant.

We love the look of this table but not sure how long it will look good. The wood requires oiling, at least every few weeks to retain rich color due to sun exposure. Two of the planks are very rough (splinters in my hand)so will have to sand them down here soon and reoil - again.

This is a great outdoor dining table. Confortably seats 6 but can seat up to 8 with narrow chairs. We leave it out in the light rainy season and move it inside in the winter. The wood has a slightly more weathered look, still beautiful, but isn't warped at all, and legs have no rust. It is however difficult to clean if foods gets in-between the planks of wood.

Went inot the store.
There was one spot on the top where the wood wasn't milled perfectly, but it's still lovely and good other than that
