A timeless classic, and this piece is extraordinarly beautiful in the walnut. It's paired with streamlined and very 'square/industrial' furnishings--and was selected to be the more 'organic' counterpoint to all other pieces. If fulfills that role beautifully. If ONLY Room & Board had done the same excellent job with the two Zinc Chairs we ordered to go with this table...but, alas, the chairs are a disappointment! But the table is fantastic!

I'm not a furnista but this seems like a great product that is sturdy and built well. Although I found a knock-off by happenstance a few days later the authentic reproduction is of superior quality in my opinion. I am very frugal and yet am very happy with the official version from Room & Board even though I know what I could have saved. I have since read several threads on the internet about whether to buy the reproduction or knock-off. In my opinion, potential ethical concerns aside, Room & Board is the way to go and skimp on something else.
