I really love this console table. I almost got the marble top but after considering that it was a lot more and could get stained more easily, went with the white quartz and I gotta say, it looks really luxurious. Also, they were out of stock when I ordered it but it came a lot faster than I expected so that was a nice surprise.

We use this as a dining surface if we are watching a TV program. Plenty of space for two diners and serving dishes. Position the table behind a sofa placed in the middle of the room.

We needed a small table for collecting keys and other entryway items but was narrow enough to not obstruct our hallway. This table is the perfect size and works well with many different styles. The glass top and simple design also help keep it from feeling like it's taking up a lot of room in a narrow space. We might order the bigger version to fit behind a couch in our living room.

We purchased a 32" x 8" x 29" console table, which is used in my entry way to put keys, mail, displaying small things, etc. It sits a few feet away from my dining table (also Parsons style). The natural steel base is thinner than your standard Parsons but thicker than the Slim line of tables so the legs do not look bulky in the smaller sizes
It's very sturdy and has a large enough surface area to be useful without taking up too much space.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was easy and came at the start of my two-hour window. Everything was properly protected during transport.

Placed along the wall of my studio apartment, with one end near my bed, this parsons console becomes a console/desk for my notebook computer and the night stand on that side of the bed. Cherry top on the black frame looks cool with a red leather chair with black legs (sorry, from somewhere else).

Our wood tops are all finished with lacquer to protect against stains and water marks. However, moisture can still penetrate if not wiped up and leave marks that can be difficult to remove. Using coasters and wiping up spills will keep your wood table top looking good for the long run.Answered on 5/25/2013 by Design Associate from Room & Board
