I ordered this desk for my home office. I love the L-shape since it allows me to have a "computer" section and a "writing" section. The wood is beautiful and definitely a step-up from what I had. No drawers...but therefore more desktop space.

I bought this in cherry with natural steel legs - it is beautiful, and looks great with the Linear cherry storage cabinet. I originally bought the 48x24 desk with 36x18 return, but once I got it, I realized that I had mis-interpreted the overall size and that the desk part was too small. No worries - R&B simply swapped out the 48x24 desk top for a 60x30 desk top. They delivered the larger desk top a mere 7 days after I received the original one, and there was no charge for the exchange. All I had to pay was the price difference between the smaller and the larger top. R&B really does offer the best customer service I could imagine. They make everything SO easy! I am a fan for life!

It was a short search for my office update as I knew I wanted something from Room and Board. I had originally settled on a different desk but after measuring the space a second time I realized it would be too big. This is an excellent second choice. It is well designed, well made and I am happy to buy pieces that are sourced locally. It fits my space and style and I find myself enjoying the time I spend at the desk. Its a very functional piece.

I cannot speak highly enough of my service and delivery. Room and Board contacted us, as promised, to arrange the date/approximate time. We were at the end of a long delivery day and yet the gentlemen were just that, gentlemen! They were in good humor, very skillful in their assembly and it was a pleasure to work with all involved.

This is a great desk. I was a bit worried it would look almost flimsy or insubstantial compared to what I think is the more popular Parsons L-shape desk, but that's not true at all. It's a very simple, sleek look, and the wood is beautiful. I have the maple butcherblock and the sequel rolling file in walnut, and the contrasting colors look great next to each other.

Doesn't get better for clean lines and plenty of workspace while using up those often empty corners in your office. Looks it best when clutter is kept to a minimum - so it might be wise to invest in some file storage too.

Very versitile and sturdy. All of my staff use and love these desks. Move legs/add filing cabinets, change shapes etc. with ease.

Very well constructed desk. Upon delivery, the R&B crew found that the return was a slightly different height than the main desk, and ordered a replacement on the spot. The finish does scratch easily, so be careful. And I had a laser printer on the return, and apparently the heat discolored the finish a bit - so if you use a heat producing printer, I suggest you put some sort of insulation under it, like a foam table mat. Other than that, I have been very satisfied.
