It would be awesome if you got to choose the length of the legs. I sometimes wish my desk was an inch or two shorter.

However, it is a great, straightforward desk. Because there are no drawers underneath, I can sit however I like. I also enjoyed ordering a custom return (24" square, left side) to fit my space and work habits.

I have the cherry butcher-block top. After 3/4 year of intensive use, I have started wearing some areas of the finish more smooth than others (you can only tell by touch), and have made some superficial scratches in it. However, because the desk is so simple, I know that if I ever choose to refinish it, that won't be difficult at all.

We use R&B parsons tables as desks and conference tables in our loft office space. Bought 6 60x36 and 6 24x48 nearly eight years ago to set up the space; just expanded and added several more. They're simple, durable, great quality, wear incredibly well (we can't tell the difference between old and new). And R&B's service - delivery and otherwise - has been exceptional. Thanks!

I bought this work table because I really liked the no-nonsense simplcity of it's design. It has the perfect dimensions for my workspace needs and is minimalistic and well crafted. The cherry is a beautiful color. However having 3 clearly visible 1-1/2" by 2" wood reinforcemet bands screw-mounted nearly the full length, width-wise, on the underside of the desktop kills a lot of the intended simplcity of this design. (I should mention that these are not visble at all in the catalouge images.) These also limit where my chair can be pushed in because they bump into the armrests, incredibly. I know these are in place to prevent warping of the desktop, but this reads as an ad-hoc fix to poorly joined wood. At least if preventive reinforcing was necessary after joining it could have been done with flush mounted--or nearly flush mounted--steel. What's the point of having a simple desk design with clean lines if you're going to attach blocks of wood to it? And the chair interference is a bit maddening. Alas, it's not perfect, but it will do for now.

I chose these legs and a solid oak table top for my main work desk and have loved it even more than expected. The top is beautiful enough that I don't want to leave a cluttered desk at the end of the day, and it's big enough for my small work group to gather around effectively when we work together. It's far more functional than I expected. And it looks great, too.

I scoured the internet for durable and high quality table legs for my office table. R&B had the best deal as well as the best return policy if I changed my mind (but I also live near their distribution center, which has free returns). These legs plus a cheap maple butcher block top from another retailer, and I have something that looks like it's from R&B, but for a fraction of the price.

We bought this desk along with a rolling cabinet and nightstands- all in maple. We could not be happier. Gorgeous, classic, high quality furniture. We look forward to purchasing the matching dresser in the future.

I paired the Parsons legs with a cherry butcher block top, which makes a beautiful desk. It looks light and elegant, and even though it is quite large, it doesn't look massive, which was important in an office/bedroom combined space.

I really like this table for our kitchen. It is a beautiful design, fits the space perfectly and is enduring the crazy treatment of our toddler. It has held up really well since we've bought it. Only good things to say about it (we have the round one with the dark legs)
