I bought 3 and one of them was a nice dark rusted patina. The other 2 were more like coppery gold with the welding marks showing. I wish they would have all been the same but the light copper just was a disappointment and not what I wanted at all. They come from the warehouse so you can't hand pick. I had to return all 3 unfortunately. [...]

Hanging the frame was easy. The difficult part was trying to figure out what kind of picture frame hook to use because it's so heavy. You can just use screws and hang the frame on them. But I was able to find sidewinder hangers which works well. Also, it looks like one side of the frame doesn't have a lip to hang it on which doesn't matter if you get the centered frame but it may matter if you get the off-centered frame and wish to hang it a certain way. That said, I would definitely buy this frame again.

We used this frame as actually an accent wall mirror for our livingroom. Swap out the photo glass for mirror glass and it's that easy. The patina of the frame is great with bronze/gold/black/red-browns tones, and works especially well in a vintage and aged space - our home is a 1934 house in Miami. Overall, the piece adds depth and interest in being both modern, basic, but also warm and with character.

When I was inserting a photograph, the glass broke. The metal rod on the back is a bit difficult to remove without breaking the glass. Would prefer a different hanging device.
