Our interior walls are mostly tan with some a deep bronze as accents. These frames are a perfect complement. The patina varies from frame to frame -- better than expected. The large size and .5" depth is ideal for my use. As I usually do with metal frames, I used a cleat-type of hanger to keep them tight and straight against the wall.
Service and delivery comments:
I called customer service to find out what the back looked like in order to determine if I could use a cleat type of hanger. The woman I spoke to arranged to have someone take photos and sent them to me by e-mail within 24 hours. I was very impressed!

I looked high and low to find the perfect frames for pictures taken on a Greece vacation. The color tone and uniqueness of these frames compliments the Sepia tone of the photos. It was a breeze to place the photos in the frame and easier to hang. They are a bit heavy so make sure to secure your hook in the wall. The only thing I did not like was the appearance of the weld marks on the front. I did not remember seeing these in the store, but they too add to the uniqueness.

I was so excited to see the patina finish but was disappointed upon opening the boxes. The patina is so light that you can barley notice it. It still is a cool frame but I feel that the pictures on the internet and catalog are very misleading. We still are keeping them, we ordered two in every size, because they are so unique.

I have been thinking about ordering these for years and finally ordered 3. The coloring is not as pictured or described. They are painted brown with a coppor tint and in one place mine is scratched so you can see the steel shining through. These do not have a treatment of any kind. The picture on the web is much more attractive than the real thing. I actually thought I had ordered the wrong color at first. These are a huge disappointment.
