Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
I have had this bed for close to 7 years and am moved to (finally) write a review because after traveling, I have come home to it and am struck again by how much I like it. First, it is heavy. Very heavy. But the beauty of the bed's weight is that it does not move or squeak. It just stays put, leading to very restful evenings. When I first got it, I liked it for the almost floating quality it has -- it is very minimal and sleek. Now I like it for how well-made and solid it is. We used to bump our shins on the edges but with kids in the house, we padded them. It does detract from the look of it, true, but it's not a big deal.

Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
design of the bed was what I wanted, Its durable but the mattress shifts around on the platform because the platform has a smooth surface so you have to continually adjust the mattress
good delivery, not all the hard ware that was needed to set it up was left by the delivery person, mentioned this in a comment in an email review and nothing was done about it. Being so service oriented I thought someone would get back to me and look into it or at least send me the hardware I need to set it up.

Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
This is a really great bed. Very solid, comes in three pieces, very easy to put together. Some have complained that the edges are too sharp, but I don't find that a problem since they are rounded off. Really happy with my purchase.

Customer comments about Platform King Bed:
The bed is great overall. The spaces between the slats are a bit wide so I put a thin sheet of wood over it because my memory foam mattress was sinking in the gaps.

Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
I love this bed, but the corners of the base (that stick out) are extremely sharp. I will have to put some kind of covering to prevent injuries and this defeats the sleek, modern styling. If I had known, I would have chosen another bed. It's for my teenage son, but I think it'd be a hazard for anyone.

Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
I love the simple clean lines of this bed and it's sturdy construction. It is easy to get your feet under the bed when making it and we put a 12inch mattress on it which makes for a perfect bed height.

Customer comments about Platform Full Bed:
This bed has a simple design and a low profile which works great in my studio apartment since it doesn't seem to take up the whole room (even though it's a Full size). It's extremely sturdy, and although a bit heavy, I can't see 2 people having any trouble moving it. You can let your sheets/comforter hang over the sides and you won't even see the frame. It's difficult to get underneath it (even to vacuum) so don't plan on using it for under-the-bed storage. Also, banging your shins on it HURTS (it's steel), so watch the corners of the frame when you're near it.
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery on my bed (I had this frame and a mattress delivered) was exceptional. Scheduling was very simple (I ordered online, they called me to schedule a delivery at my convenience, and then again to confirm). The movers were very professional, polite, and fast. They had no complaints about having to carry it up to my apartment (4th floor walk-up!). The frame was in excellent condition and they kept it that way. They even cleaned it for me quickly (there might be some dust/residue on it).

Customer comments about Platform Queen Bed:
This bed is all that we had hoped----it is solid and stable with no movement whatsoever, and the steel is a gorgeous matt color which goes with espresso, charcoal, or black furnishings or accessories. We bought the Hudson 2 drawer bedside tables in charcoal stained maple to go with it, with the Nelson bench with black wooden legs at the foot and all ivory linen bedding. The bed shows just a little under the duvet, grounding the room while at the same time making it seem spacious. This was a very good purchase, a forever piece.
Service and delivery comments:
Every delivery we have had from R&B has been so professional, prompt and friendly. I don't know how they keep such consistency in their service, but THANK YOU, R & B!

The quality of this product is unbelievable. In fact, I had become a bit of a cynic about product quality; I didn't think that any manufacturer put this much into a product anymore. Thanks for proving me wrong.
