Recommended by a friend who had purchased a similar table. She sent me pictures of her table and I was then able to order my marble coffee table online. I ordered the 36 x 36 table with a walnut top. It's beautiful and solidly constructed. When I first received it, I was surprised by the color a grain variation in the boards that comprise the top, some are a grayish brown, others are somewhat purple, while still others have areas of yellow and gold. However, after a few days, the variation grew on me and now I wouldn't have it any other way.

The portica coffee table was the perfect addition to the living room. It lightened up the space and balances out the thick pile Room & Board rug and MCM couch. After looking at other glass tables we chose this one because it was the right height for resting your feet and because it didn't have the semicircular brush marks that competitors brushed onto the chrome. Unfortunately, it already has a scratch and because we got a clear glass pane, smudge marks show up more so than they would on frosted glass (nothing that an ammonia based window cleaner can't handle). We're happy with our purchase and wouldn't change our minds.
