This a great multi-tasking piece of furniture. I use it as a desk, a buffet server when entertaining, and a hall table. We chose the glass top, which is thick with smooth edges; it takes up very little visual space in our small apartment, but it's a real workhorse. We shopped around before buying, and no one else comes close to Room and Board's quality and custom options. If you're considering any of the Portica pieces, go for it.

I looked and looked for a small table to put in my entry way. I wanted something that wouldn't obstruct the flow of traffic, but would be great for setting down mail, keys, etc.
This table is perfect in the space.
I was surprised that being so tall and narrow, it is not tippy or wobbly at all. It is a great slim table.
I ordered in the Grey Quartz Composite and the color is great. Works with both warm and cool tones.
