Bought 3 leather stools about 4 years ago. All 3 stools have split along the stitching on the seat. The splits are several inches long and the stools look terrible. Very unhappy with the quality delivered by Room and Board on this product. Customer service has been less than helpful.

Amazingly comfortable chair, though you'd never think it from looking at it. The back is perfectly formed and curved for lumbar support, and the height is wonderful for counter height (R & B's 35" or standard 36").

I wish they had a finish that was suitable for outdoor use - these are far more comfortable than any bistro sets we've seen for our balcony.

Also, would be nice if they were stackable - we have limited space, and the design is gratuitously not stackable. We need extra chairs for guests, but with open floor plan, would like to avoid clutter of extra chairs when not used.

Leather looks great, cleans easily. Tucks entirely under table, so no extra footprint. Overall, great purchase.

So disappointed in the stool and in the customer service of the store. I bought these pretty stools several years ago and loved them. They are perfect in my kitchen with a high dining table also purchased from Room and Board. They looked great together but the finish on the table is coming off and the (faux) leather on the stools is cracking and peeling. Room and Board will not replace them unless I pay half the cost. That would mean I would have to pay to replace them every five years. Surely furniture should last longer than that especially after five years.

The stools are sleek and attractive. I wish that the description had been clearer that they're not really leather (bonded leather largely means synthetic materials with trace amounts of actual leather). The plastic smelled pretty strong when they first arrived, but I'm hopeful it will start to face as the seats get broken in. For R&B, these are still a good deal, but had I known I wasn't getting real leather, I would have probably opted for something else.

These stools are comfortable and look great. They are used at my kitchen island and I had wanted something super comfortable and supportive, but as discreet as possible so they weren't a focal point of the room. They feel sturdy and well constructed, and the most comparable option I had found prior to discovering the radius was double the price.

We purchased four of these stools four years ago when we remodeled our kitchen. We love the way the design complements our decor--sleek modern design for the kitchen, but the dark leather also looks great with some of the more traditional furniture we have in the adjoining room.

I am a stay-at-home mom of two young children and we have used these stools on a daily basis for meals and "hanging out" in the kitchen. My husband and I find them to be relatively comfortable. I love that they are easy for the kids to climb up in and easy to clean.

My only complaint is that after four years we are down to 2 of 4 stools. The screws that hold the seat on have popped out of the bottom of the chair. The part on the inside of the seat has stripped and/or broken making it impossible to replace the screws. One of the broken seats has 2 missing screws and the other seat has come completely off because we continued to use it after 2 screws were broken. We are not huge people and I don't feel we have put undue wear and tear on these stools.

I know not everyone would think so, but for us it was quite a bit of money to spend on stools. We thought we were buying something of good quality that would last us for years to come. We continue to use the 2 remaining stools, but are unable to eat together at our island right now. Very disappointed.
