Here's the thing. That material is cool to the touch, despite the incredible hot summer heat here. The tubular structural metal never warmed up like the other metal stuff. The arms cooled my hands (and nerves) when I relaxed in that heat

These chairs are well built and look great. I am definitely happy with my purchase. Only downside is that my 2 year old needs a pillow to sit on them with her knees (are a bit too hard as compared to cushioned chairs).

We purchased four of these chairs recently as seating at a small, breakfast-sized table we purchased elsewhere. The chairs are very comfortable, easy to clean and stack, and the mesh makes them cool and not visually bulky. Compared to other similar seating they are priced very reasonably. We are very happy with our chairs!
