This is the 2nd time I've purchased this rug pad. My top priority was to find a product that protects my site-finished walnut flooring. For the last year, it's been doing just that. My only complaint is that it leaves a powder behind. I have to pull the rug back and sweep it up every week.
However, I will continue to use and purchase this product because it protects my floor.

To Note: R&B has slightly off size rugs... so not 9*12 (which the rug pad measures) but 8'6" by 11'7", so there is some cutting involved, or a smaller rug pad should have been recommended by R&B when purchasing.

The rug pad seems to work exactly as advertised and much better than previous store-bought models. Overall, we are glad we purchased it to go with the rug. As you might expect, however, it is difficult be effusive about a rug pad.
Instead, I wanted to say a couple of excellent words about the eames plywood lounge chair that we received in the same order. It was the second one we ordered this year and a perfect match for the first. We use them as chairs opposite our sofa with their backs to the front door and they are the perfect piece of furniture for several reasons. Of course, they are very comfortable. But in addition to that, they are asthetically pleasing from from any angle. Third, they are low-lying and spare and therefore do not block the rest of the room visually but instead invite people into it (even though the face away from the front door). Finally, they are tremendously multi-purpose, as they can be moved around easily for more seating elsewhere or can graduate to a bed room or study if we every have the opportunity to afford some of the other seating options at R&B.
