This bed is great! Sturdy piece of furniture and great delivery. Our mattress was actually a tiny bit too wide when we first put it on but it did settled into the frame. It is a very tight fit on the sides so it is a little difficult to make the bed but we weren't getting a different mattress and we weren't getting a different bed. We are extremely happy with our purchase.

It's a nice bed and very trim. It fits in a small guest room/office and looks nice.
The corners on the bottom are pretty sharp. We don't have much room to go around it so have to be careful about the corners.
It's sturdy and doesn't squeak.

Construction is squeekless and creak-free. Beautiful solid wood with prominent grain character. Unsure about the extra 4" or so of length. Seems unnecessary, but doesn't subtract from the look.

Overall I love the bed for my sons room. The issues are that the space is too big for the mattress and the corners are very sharp for a kids bed. I ran into one an gave myself a painful bruise.

This bed has been one of the best investments we've made. Our previous bed frame had served us for more than 15 years, but because we upgraded to a king mattress, we had to make the change. The solid cherry construction and simple contemporary style make this bed a good choice for a bedroom in which you're blending furniture pieces from different sources. Absolutely no squeaking from this rock-solid bed frame.

This bed looks great, was super easy to assemble, and doesn't need a box spring. BUT it has sharp edges that we often bang our knees into. It's also a bit hard to touch sheets into the bottom, but nothing outrageous.

As with everything else from Room and Board, this bed is extremely well-made from beautiful wood. The first thing I noticed, and continued to notice, is how sturdy it feels. It doesn't fit the mattress perfectly, but after the bed is made you would not notice it at all.
