I thought that the cubbies might be too small to house some children's books at first, but we've only found one HUGE book that won't fit. So the cubbies are bigger and more functional than I expected them to be. We plan on purchasing some storage bins for the unit so that our son can use it for toy storage as well.

I have this piece in the kids' room and it houses all of their children's books. We love the simple design and how durable it is, even when the little ones are banging the books around and trying to "organize" them. The only down-side may be that it is not adjustable - which is okay with us because we like the clean lines. Very pleased!

This is a great addition for a kids room or play room. We use it both as a book shelf and also have some baskets in the cubbies to hold toys. Very functional.

Q:
Will this be strong enough to hold vinyl records if they fill all 6 bins? Most record storage is not off the ground so I was curious if the legs will be strong enough to hold that much weight.
