Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

Construction-wise, this table will last a very long time. Sturdy and versatile. But table surface finish began to degrade in the 2d year. Forced to dismantle and refinish the table top's powder coat start of this (4th) season. Did not expect that for the cost. Framework & legs are holding their finish well. Would recommend if you are willing/able to re-powdercoat in 3-4 years

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

Very simple, elegant method for transforming the table from family size to accommodate guests on the outdoor patio. Perfectly sized, solid construction, easy to clean and maintain, and looks sharp. Light enough to move around but solid enough to feel stable. Definitely on the pricey side, but well-cared for, it should last a very very long time.

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

This is a great product. I've had several patio tables and this is the best. Great for small groups but easily expanded to accommodate 8 or more. The leaf storage and installation is well designed.

The team that delivered and setup the table were the best.

    Highly recommend Room and Board.

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

I love the design of the Sonoma table - it is everything the description says it is. Unfortunately, after two seasons of light use, being kept under an overhanging roof, and being covered off-season - this table looks horrible. I have had the flaking problems described by other reviewers, but the table top has also rusted. Although hard to capture in a photo, the table now looks rust colored instead of metallic gray and looks like an old junky table. I, like another reviewer, wonder if my table was from a defective batch because so many of the reviews rave about this product.

I plan on asking Room and Board if they will make good on this piece and will update this review with their response. Ordinarily, I wouldn't bother, but it was pricey and the delivery costs made it one expensive outdoor table!

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

Needed an outdoor table that would look good in a medium-sized backyard yet could sit more than 6 when needed. Most tables we looked at were large, bulky and heavy feeling with overstuffed chairs. This sleek design does not call attention to itself and compliments the rest of the yard. The table seats 6 comfortably in the standard configuration and goes up to 12 (4 on a side, 2 grandkids at the ends) with the extension. It's slightly smaller dimensions, powder coating for easy cleaning with a hose and self storage for the extension make it a versatile table that compliments our lifestyle. FYI there are 4 locks that release the extension. Be sure to unlock them before trying to open the table or you will have a different opinion of the table. Also the table extends without the legs moving which is nice feature if you have already leveled the table on the patio. Purchased it with 6 Rio Chairs so the complete package was well priced. The chairs are much more comfortable than they look. Light and easy to move.

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

Jan, you have the exact same issues as I do and we both live in Denver (powder coating flaking)... And I bought it in early 2010. I wonder if there was a bad batch or if it has anything to do with the weather. I cover mine in the winter and bring all other pieces inside. I am rating this four starts because the previous review caused me to call customer service and see if they could help in any way. From my conversation, I believe they will. Room & Board has excellent customer service. That's why this deserves 4 stars for now. It's hard to give 5 after it flaked, but things happen and it's how the company reacts to it and their service that really matters in the end. The table, chairs, and umbrella are all slick looking and I'd buy them again, for sure.

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

We bought this table in '09. It's 2012 and the powder coat is flaking off. It is very disappointing to spend that much for something that is either poor quality or defective. We are going to see what Room & Board will do about the problem.

Customer comments about Sonoma 63x35 Extension Table with One-20w Leaf:

I didn't consider this table until I saw it in the Room and Board showroom. It looks a lot better in person than in the pictures. And, even though I was looking for a table that would fit 12 with no one on the four corners, I went with this (instead of DWR's teak with extension) and am glad I did. Table cleans easily and is really beautiful and functional. Nothing common about this table.

This table is well constructed, well built, easy to clean. The extra leaf slides in/out easily. The table seats 8 comfortably with the extra leaf in use. I am extremely pleased with this purchase.
