I purchased this frame about 6 months ago and when it arrived the glass was broken in all three frames I ordered. Room and board QUICKLY fixed the problem sending me replacement glass. However I think subsequently they may have switched vendors? This time the plastic seal on the steel frame was impossible to remove.. Once removed it left a black residue from the adhesive all around the edges. It took me two hours (per frame!) to get it off and they only thing that worked was nail polish remove and gently scraping with a flat screwdriver. In contrast before the seal peeled off easily leaving no trace. I would not order these frames again unless this is fixed.

After admiring the frames at my local Room and Board as well as the online photos, I was sorely disappointed the moment it came to unwrapping the stubborn plastic "protective" film. Not only did it take at least 30 minutes per frame to carefully peel, the frames were still slightly scratched. One of them had a line all the way across the frame. They also were very difficult to hang accurately.

I purchased three of these frames (with the off-set glass) for some mid-century prints that I bought for our dining room. First, it took me at least 30-minutes (per frame) to take off the protective coat. I noticed a scratch on one frame deep enough that I could feel it. Although the tones of the stainless did not match (one was different) and there were other various imperfections, I decided to try to make it work and called to get the scratched frame replaced. The replacement arrived and was also scratched. Also, I'd had a chance to notice that the frames would often shift on the wall because the weight is on one side. Lastly, they are very prone to finger prints (more than stainless appliances).

This was one of the few really large sized frames I found. I hung this frame together in a set with some 8x10 and 5x7 frames. The stainless steel works well with black and white photos. I was worried about how heavy the frame is, as it does not come with any special hanging pieces - but it has held up fine against the wall.

I bought five of the steel frames in different sizes to hang in a long hallway upstairs. I had originally planned to put artwork in the hallway but the frames allowed me to put up some pictures and still make it a bit creative and fun.

I use three of these off center photo frames in a vertical column in my living room and they make a statement that gets noticed with every new visitor. The stainless steel is perfect with black and white photography.

We purchased three of these frames to hang over our bed. They are made of commercial grade stainless steel and look great! We purchased two of the centered and one of the off-centered wall frames. We've received many compliments on how sleek and contemporary they look. They do a great job focusing your attending on the picture as there is a large matte (steel) area. Two things to note though - 1) the frames come covered in a plastic from the factory to protect the steel from scratches which took some serious time and a few fingernails to remove; 2) the frames are only setup to hang on two of their sides so if you purchase the off-centered frame you are limited as to which way you can hang it...not deal breakers but would have been nice to know before purchasing.
