I love this desk. I use it to study in my room and it's great because the top portion allows for a ton of space so I can spread my computer, papers and books out. The legs are not too wide so a big desk chair fits nicely. Its the perfect hight for a mini-fridge and other storage things to fit underneath and it looks really clean so it goes with any furniture. I only wish that there was a drawer to put pencils, notecards, etc. in.

We recently purchased an 130 year old home that was completely refurbished. The kitchen was perfect but did not have an island which is one of the cons of the home but that is ok because we love it. It is just my husband and I and our 16 year old daughter and we needed a table to accommodate us but would not overpower the kitchen. It was perfect. Both my husband and I love mixing modern pieces with antique furnishings. We have had a lot of compliments and finished it off with our jacob chairs.
