We ove this lamp! Ours is in the black matte finish and looks great next to one of our Quinn chairs. It provides perfect light for reading or on the lower level provides perfect ambient light. I works with our Quinn chairs, Jackson couch and Noguchi table.

Great lighting quality, but the black paint on the stick that extends down from the lamp had already fallen off in part by the time it arrived. I tried scratching at it, and even more came off! Probably should return it, but it's such a pain to send these things back.

This lamp looks great by the end of the couch and the adjustable height for reading and 2 brightness levels are nice. Also bought one to put by a chaise in the bedroom and, again, adjusts to great height. Style blends into the room and doesn't dominate/detract at all!

It can go in any room. It is not in the way of a look or view. Good quality, and love the right amount of light. High or low lighting is great too. I should have bought the lights at the same time. I paid $40.00 more to get the 2nd one.

This lamp provides excellent ambient light in the TV room. Combined with dimmable ceiling recessed lights, the warm glow of the lamp's down light completely illuminates the dark corners of the room, while avoiding glare when watching TV.
I was pleasantly surprised that the light has two light levels, bright and dim. Dim is great for watching TV or general conversation/ambient lighting, and bright is great for reading.
The lamp is easy to assemble, and the base and pole connect sturdily (with small alan wrench screws) for added stability of the lamp.

We bought two of these so it took much longer to assemble the first one than the second. But it still required all afternoon to put them together. And the funky little made-in-China bulb burned out just seconds after it had been installed.
The lamp that was usable gives great light and is attractive.
