Saw this light on several websites. Selected at Room and Board because they have quick delivery,good return policies and my previous experiences have been fantastic. I had this hardwired over son's bunkbed and it adds style in additional to lighting.

Ordered plug-in (vs. hardwired) version; arrived without appropriate wall-mounting hardware. Box was sealed with manufacturer's (Artimede) logo'd tape so presumably not R&B's fault – except for open question as to whether I was the first to encounter the problem. Also unknown to me is whether it was a design problem or quality-control problem. Also, installation instructions included versions for all permutations of the fixture, even for int'l vs. U.S. use, without adequate visual clues to guide me to the part pertinent to me, so the process was an exercise in deciphering, made all the more frustrating by the fact that correct accessories were missing, which I had to figure out for myself. I threw up my hands and returned it for a refund; nice piece but not important enough to be worth more trouble & waste of time.

We had two of the wall fixtures mounted above our bed and had the electrician put them on a dimmer. Unobstrusive size, great light output for reading in bed, very nice quality. Love them!
