Customer comments about York 87" Sofa:
You may be wondering why I gave 4 stars to a sofa that I "hate." Well, I also love many things about it. Yes, the back cushions lose their shape easily, but they also are very easy to plump up again. The salesperson showed us how to do it in the showroom; simply turn the cushion so the zipper is up, and push in the sides starting from the bottom to redistribute the down. The sofa is very comfortable to sit on; the depth is neither too narrow nor too wide, at least for my husband and myself. I do vacuum it weekly, and rotate/flip/plump the cushions then as well as when needed.
Now for the hate. This sofa loses a lot of down, which can make it look kind of ratty at times. I have the Total Charcoal fabric, so most of the down really stands out against it. Also, I find that the fabric has pilled quite a lot, especially on the matching ottoman, which I've had for about a year.
So that's it. Love the down when it's inside the cushion, hate it when it works its way out. I love the comfort and how easy it is to plump back up. My previous couch had back cushions filled with batting, and it became almost impossible to return the back cushions to any semblance of shape, plus they became lumpy and uncomfortable, so I really appreciate this feature. Hate the fabric pills, so if I had it to do over again I would not choose the Total fabric, even though I like the way it looks besides the pills. But that's just my experience, and the sofa does get a lot of wear and tear with a family of four and two cats.

Customer comments about York 87" Sofa:
Sofa is deep enough for 2 adults to stretch out on together when the back cushions are removed, and one back cushion fits well along the armrest in this position. The fabric is soft and comfortable. I am seeing a recurring crease where I usually sit, but it's still too early to tell if that will be permanent/visible over time when the sofa is "at rest". The side pillows are very comfortable and a good size - not too big to limit seating, but big enough for a headrest when watching tv. My previous couch was the same length but had attached armrest pillows that limited the seating area - this couch has a lot of seating/stretching out length, as the armrests are sturdy but not excessively wide. The sofa looked very grey in the store with the florescent lighting, but in my apt. with more lamps/non-white lighting it looks more neutral (charcoal). The low back of this couch means you can easily and comfortably rest your arm along the top of the back cushion when seated. But it's still high enough to give you support when seated, or slouching watching tv.
Service and delivery comments:
Great delivery service. Product arrived and was very quickly set up. Delivery personnel took all wrapping materials away with them, were very courteous.

Customer comments about York 87" Sofa:
We wanted a comfortable but smart looking sofa for the kitchen/tv room, and we didn't want to spend a fortune. We are a tall family (6'1"-6'5") and find super low and/or sofas with low backs incredibly irritating. We sat in EVERY sofa in town before purchasing the 87" York. We can even lie down comfortably on it!
Some reviews complain that the down seats lose shape, look rumpled, etc. The solution to this very real issue with an otherwise fantastic sofa is to simply flip and rotate the cushions every couple of weeks. The down is very comfortable, so I'm willing to put in this minimal amount of effort to keep it looking fresh. And, for the price, it just can't be beat.
The stock grey is a fantastic neutral, and we use the matching throw pillows on the cream slipcovered swivel chairs on the opposite side of the room to balance out the colors.
Love it, love R & B!

Customer comments about York 87" Sofa:
This is in our secondary family room, a room where my kids toys and play area is located. We love it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bottom cushions are a little firmer than the sofa I sat on in the showroom. It may still loosen up with time, and even if it doesn't, I love this sofa!

Customer comments about York 63" Sofa:
This collection was sized just right for our living space. As well as the two seater, I am super-happy with the angled sectional. Two teens can stretch out on the 4-seat sectional, and another on the 2-seater, or sitting upright our family of 5 all fit comfortably on these 2 pieces. Happy with the fabric selections, quality and price. We spent a long time looking...

Customer comments about York 63" Sofa:
It's a perfect size for two to sit and watch tv in a small space. Not too deep. Seems well made and so far so good. Just what we needed for the small space we have to watch tv. Loose pillows are too big for this small sofa, but overall excellent so far.

Just started going down hill at year 6 -the back cushions fabric is starting to separate from the backing. Otherwise, cleans super easy, comfortable and has lasted a lot longer than expected.
