would have preferred a center column less plain, but pedestal lets you add more people at the table easily. was concerned about the top of pedestal showing through glass top, but is ok with frosted glass.

This table was a great addition to my newly redesigned kitchen. The glass table top allowed a "lightness" to a room with many solid surfaces. The base allows additional seats to be placed if necessary.

The table we chose has the black finish on the base and the frosted top. Easily fits our dining needs whether it is for 2 or 6 people. It adds to the clean lines and modern look we desired for our eat-in kitchen.The table is beautiful and does not visually take up space. Combined with the upolstered chairs and the drum light we purchased from room and board we have the look of the kitchen dining area we wanted at a reasonable price. The combination of the pieces has given us WOW comments from everyone who comes over.The table is very comfortable to sit and dine at and gives a warm modern look to the kitchen.
