We have a spare bedroom with a fold out couch and limited space on either side. We used this in lieu of a bedside table and lamp to save space. Because the height adjusts, it can easily be used by someone sitting on the sofa or reading in bed. Also, the arm swings out if the way of the folding action or swings in for better light when reading. We bought a Nelson globe for over the dining room table and a large standing cigar shaped light for the living room. The diffused light is great, and it is a lot of look for the price! Very pleased with all three. Also, R & B has their own delivery crews that are exceptional.

These beauties were installed in my bedroom. It took my husband 10 minutes to install them. They look amazing... Much better than I envisioned. They make my bedroom feel luxurious and peaceful while modern and efficient. I'm in love with them. So worth it :-)

We purchased two of these for our Master Bedroom, which we centered over the night tables on each side of the head board. Beautiful Classic Design really works well in the room to add some detail. A couple of niggles... the chains on the lamps that hang down are slightly different lenghts, not sure if it is possible to shorten the chain or not. The fixture comes with a compact flourescent bulb, which in my opinion is too high of a color temp ( cool white in color )and a bit too bright for the room. We will probably replace them with warmer color LED replacement bulbs with a slightly lower light output. Beautiful lamp none the less the issues are very minor.

WE love these scones and they look wonderful on top of of our bedside tables. The only negative I can think of would be the wire that was hanging down and was an eye sore. We had an electrician conceal the wires and now it looks perfect!

This wall lamp hangs above a chaise in our living room and provides easily enough light for reading. But the classic bubble design also provides for a glare-free, softer light that works for ambiance lighting, too. Its mid-century lines are elegant and understated. It complements our eclectic mix of vintage to modern furniture without calling too much attention to itself. Installation was simple since it needn't be hard-wired. It looks delicate but the construction is sturdy. This is a classic for all the right reasons!!

Never underestimate the power of a soft, lightly damp cloth but I do know what you mean about the texture of the material feeling a bit tacky. The vendor says a solultion of mild dish soap and luke warm water can be used if gently applied with a soft cloth. Rinse the soap solution with another damp cloth. Avoid using window cleaner and similar products as they can yellow the material.
