This was our first investment sofa purchase and we couldn't be more satisfied. The couch is so comfortable: the fabric is great, the cushions and pillows are soft but durable, and the color is perfect. We went with the stock Otter color.

Service and delivery comments:

Customer service was a huge deciding factor for our purchase. We'd been looking at Macy's, which had a comprable couch for a couple hundred dollars less, but when we went into the R&B showroom, we were blown away by how knowledgable the staff were. We ended up spending over an hour checking out different styles which absolutely played into making the best decision!Shipping and all the steps along the way were exceptional. I will definitely come back for purchases in the future.

This couch has been a great fit. We almost added another side to it, but glad we didn't. Easily fits two adults and two kids. Plenty of room to spread out when you're alone too.
The color looks lighter than I remember in the showroom. May have to make my walls a bit darker.

We bought this section with the corner "wedge". The seams between the wedge and both end pieces have gaps of 1-2". That is, you look at the sectional and it looks like three separate pieces of furniture that happen to be sitting next to each other (they do not look attached). A service technician came over to inspect the sofa and agreed that the piece is faulty. The gaps are not a result of the sections not being pushed together. The installation guys and the technician confirmed they were pushed together as much as possible.

The service technician promised to have someone call and resolve the situation. They never called. Not the type of quality or customer service we expect from R&B.

I should add that we have 18 pieces of furniture from R&B in our house and we're generally happy with their products. They just really missed on this one.

I am the kind of person who believes you get what you pay for. Honestly, I was a little hesitant at first when we saw this sectional because I've seen some that are easily 2-3x this price, and I figured I would be setting myself up for disappointment. I mean, it looks great and sits well in the store, but would something at this price hold up? Well, I suppose time will tell on the quality, but what I can tell you is that I am super pleased with the design, the look, and the way it sits at home. I highly recommend this for home theater areas, and in fact, this sectional has replaced my old man cave home theater recliners. The only downside is that you have to take care of the cushions by fluffing them once a week or so. I don't mind that, as it gives you a better seat every time. This sectional is the kind you can sit on for hours if you have the time to do so, and it's great for naps too. You can go spend more on a sectional elsewhere, but I have an eye for details, and I don't see a significant difference in quality. For the money, I think this is the best piece of furniture I have purchased in a long time.

This is a great couch - it is comfortable and there is plenty of room for all of us (two adults/two kids) to lounge around. This is our second couch from Room & Board and they are both great value for the dollar. This is big couch - we bought the left chaise and the version with the right side - and it takes up a good amount of space in a large room.

The fabric is great and resists stains and the cushions are very comfortable. We are very pleased with the purchase.

It looks great. We dressed it up with fun pillows. The only problem... It's so comfortable we fall asleep whenever we watch a movie!!!

When purchasing this couch I had some reservations as I hadn't bought a new couch in about 9 years! But once it arrived and we sat down in the soft, enveloping cushions of the corner chaise couch we were happy little clams. It's not too deep that you feel uncomfortable with dangling feet, but it's deep enough for two people to lay down on watch TV side by side. The chaise section is so cozy, you can just cuddle up in the corner to watch movies, read, work on your laptop. The only downside to the couch that we've found so far is that if you sit right in the crease of two cushions you feel like you're sinking a bit. They're soft and very large and definitive so if you're on the edge of one it can be a little uncomfortable. We've only had the couch for a month so we'll see how it holds up with time but overall we're very happy with the purchase so far!
