We replaced our Klein section (not a fan as cushions didn't hold shape and too deep) with the York. The York is the perfect balance of comfort but also firm so it holds up.

We purchased this sofa online without looking at it in person when we were redoing our living space. The stock fabric color is better than expected and the comfort of the cushions and quality of the construction is excellent. We lounge on this sofa for reading, watching movies, and hanging out with our kids. It seems like it will hold up to wear and tear quite nicely. The seat is higher than we expected but works better in our space than a low seat so are very happy with the size and comfort.

We have had this couch for just over a year, the (total natural) fabric is pilling (like a cheap wool blend sweater). Also the natural color shows dirt, I have purchased a light colored sofa from room/board in the past, it does not show this much dirt and I have had it since 2004. I like the look and feel of the couch, but would advise against getting the total fabric.

I am so very happy with my purchase. We bought this in the L shape with the chaise in the micro-suede fabric.
This fabric is so easy to clean! Much better than the wool, woven fabric I had chosen for my last Room and Board couch.
The york sofa is incredibly comfortable, and the cushions are holding up very well.
The foot part of the chaise seems a little higher than the spot where you sit, so I'm a little nervous that with time that will become more obvious, but that I the only semi negative thing I can come up with.

The York sectional is stocked in Dawson cement - a grey color. We have fabric swatches available for all of our fabrics. We also have the York stocked in Total charcoal, a darker grey.
If you look at the column for fabrics and open the options, you'll see both fabrics and when you click on these options, you'll see the images.

Hello, thanks for your question. As far as sturdy fabrics that can be spot-cleaned you would want to look for a fabric that is either 100% polyester or has a very high percentage. The Dawson fabric that is on the york sofa is a great option. If you search "care" you will get information on how to clean your upholstery. If you search "swatches" you will see all of our fabric options and under the large swatch to the left, it will tell you the fabric content.
