This lamp comes completely assembled and ready to plug in. I think it's the nicest lamp ( I call it art) I have ever owned and I have spent a lot more on lighting... Sadly. I only wish I had room for more but I am looking at other lamps from this vendor because they are clearly made well. LOVE this purchase.

Super cute for a nursery. Comes with a dimmer which is super handy. I sometimes use it as a night light for night feedings. It doesn't give off much light so you really can't use it as a primary light source.

Take the rubber ring off the base of the lightbulb that the lamp come with before you plug it in! Lamp arrived two weeks ago and I loved the look of it. However on plugging it in, there was a burning smell. I thought it might be chemicals on the fabric shade getting heated up and burning off, so I turned the lamp way down. It still smelled. I turned it on and tried again a few days in row. Still a smell. Then the bulb that came with the lamp blew. Now I realize I didn't take off a small rubber ring around the base of the bulb, so i feel silly. The bulb is not the most easy to find.

Was looking for a modern accent light for my home office desk, and couldn't be happier with the Tube Top Small Table Lamp. The shade gives off a soft amber glow (has a dimmer) and the acrylic base is a gorgeous Ruby Red. Beautiful design right down to the fabric wrapped cord. I did not need a task lamp, but wanted something softer to cut the glare from the computer screen. This gem of a lamp would also be perfect as a night light. Highly recommend.

This light is for our son's nursery. Love the dimmer, great to keep on low as a night light; the color is fantastic; and the lamp will grow with our son as the room decor changes with his age.

I needed to add light to a table in a small office/sitting room. The blue accent of the lamp plus its small footprint worked great in my grey cream room. I knocked it over once. It landed on the carpet with no damage. Very pleased.

I really like this lamp, but it is much smaller than I expected, even after reviewing the dimensions online. I wanted a desk lamp and ended up putting it on a stack of books so that I wasn't looking down into it. The one downside is that the dimmable CFL I tried made a buzzing sound so I ended up using an incandescent bulb. Plus because this uses a candelabra base, the energy-efficient bulb options are limited.

I was skeptical about spending this much for a four year-old child. My child is able to turn on and off lamp on her own. This is a perk for me as she learns to be self sufficient. Very impressed!

This lamp rest on the nightstand in one of our kids' rooms. It's a very cute design. We like the color it brings to the room whether the light is on or off. We like the fact that if it were to topple off the nightstand it wouldn't shatter or dent the floor since it is made of lightweight plastic. We also like the dimmer switch. It functions quite well as a bedside lamp.

The fixture is a nice scale and fun design. Light output is good for accent, but wouldn't work very well for reading. The colored acrylic supports the two short sides of the shade which affects the color of the light. I bought the green fixture and it does have a slight green cast. Also, shows dust very quickly. But, it looks nice next to the bed and decent quality. Has a great dimmer and came with the lamp (bulb).
