I use this stool next to the shoe area to have somewhere to sit to put on/take off shoes. I love it; it's the perfect height, and looks great. It's also comfortable enough, and so easy to move, that it can also be pulled out as additional seating, and stylish enough that it doesn't look out of place to do that.

This is such a great piece because it's so versatile! I rearrange my furniture fairly often, and so I've used this piece in a variety of ways. It's great when used simply as a decorative piece, but my favorite use is as a living area side table. I've placed a small stack of my most favorite hard cover "coffee table" design books on top to provide a flat, even surface, and I use it right next to my sofa to set my laptop, my coffee...whatever. I love it! It's fairly lightweight, doesn't take up much space, and looks very rich and chic. I've received so many compliments!
