I ordered this sofa, and while it was out-of-stock at the time, it was worth the wait. It appears to be very well made, very solid and sturdy. Everyone who has sat on it has commented on how comfortable it is — something I was very nervous about seeing as I ordered online and it's so minimal in terms of extraneous cushions. I absolutely love how minimal it is and am very impressed by the comfort it offers.

I had great expectations for this Sofa, but it was a disappointment off the bat.

It arrived damaged to start with. RB was great in setting up an exchange quickly so that was handled well.

We choose this as we wanted to have a stiff sofa and it felt so in the shop. After 30 min of sitting on it started to feel baggy and loose shape.

It gets dirty and patchy from just sitting on it, the material is really (stock color) sensitive.

We wanted to have it as an optional sleeper for a mid afternoon nap. I tried it once, never again. Totally uncomfortable for a nap

Having a fabric with polyester, acrylic and cotton blend is important because I live in Hawaii; which is mildly humid and warm. Wanted a fabric composition that wouldn't soil easily upon contact. I ordered a "charcoal" color and am absolutely pleased with it. Upon request, Room & Board sent swatches, which really helped in my decision. Whereas, my husband would've preferred a higher back couch, I wanted a contemporary design to compliment the space it is intended for. (Besides, I already bought him a leather sectional with ottoman.....he can do his relaxing on that.) I purchased the 101" piece and it is nice to lay on it comfortably. The arms are low and slick looking. Cushions are firm for now....will see in time how it holds up. I shopped all over Honolulu for a design like the Luca couch, but couldn't find one to my liking. Even with the shipping cost to Hawaii, I am pleased and content with my purchase. Want to mention (also), that R&B customer service was accommodating and never did I experience any hassels during any time in my long distance contacts. Will I do business with R&B again? You betcha!

Absolutely love this sofa, it is more impressive in my living room than in the R&M show room. It takes up less room than expected for its size. I purchased the 101 inch charcoal grey sofa. It is the most comfortable sofa I have purchased.

I purchased two Luca sofas, a 101" and a 87", from the Room and Board website for use in my main living room. Making such a large purchase online without being able to test or see the sofas in person was a concern, but I'm happy to report they are exactly what we wanted and fit the space perfectly.

The build is sturdy and durable. I creaks or cracks when shifting weight or when a lot of people are sitting on them. The fabric seems like it will last a long time, and although it's not soft like microfiber or leather, it is comfortable. The color is just what we were hoping for, a dark grey with the slightest hint of blue, and is a good neutral color that's a perfect foundation for the room.

We love the look of the pieces, and the seat height is great (we're on the shorter side) and low, which gives it a very sleek look and helps the couches not overtake the room. The sofas are also deep, so you can lay back comfortably. The cushions are soft but firm.

It's only been a couple of months but so far we love them and look forward to many years of use.

Service and delivery comments:

Delivery was a breeze and exactly as described. I was given a one hour delivery window and delivery arrived almost exactly on the hour. The sofas were in perfect condition on arrival.

This sofa is a great combination of modern design balanced with comfort and practicality. I needed a sofa for my living room that was modern with sleek styling as my living room is not too big. The Luca sofa arrived 2 months ago and so far has been great! The charcoal fabric is a nice low-maintenance color and all my guests have commented that it is a very comfortable couch. I highly recommend it!

Service and delivery comments:

The Room and Board delivery was terrific (much better than many other companies I ordered from). They deliver on Saturdays and includes setup and disposal of packing materials. (Again, I recommend you clarify this if you order from other companies!) I would definitely order from Room and Board again!

I really love this furniture. I like the sleek lines of the couch and the cushions appear to be well made as they hold up well. A fw more color selectioins would have been good, but the gray is nice and ig goes with everything. The delivery was right on time even tho the guy called and said he'd be 10 minutes late.I was impressed that he called because so many don't call when they're delayed and leave you waiting for hours.

This is a great couch! We got the 101" version and it's the perfect size for the hubby and son to take naps together. Also firm enough and the fabric wipes clean easily. We also got the armchair which is almost like a mini couch because of it's size. So far holding up great despite our son using it as a trampoline.
