Piece arriveed with a dime sized blemish on one of the front legs. We deemed it not worth the hassle of a return but wish it had arrived without imperfections. Otherwise, it was exactly as depicted in the showroom.

This is a great piece for behind the sofa with tons of space for storage.
The glass shelf gives it an open look. It has a very solid appearance without looking heavy. The delivery men were great setting it up and taking all the wrapping away.

This is a nice quality item, don't get me wrong. However if you're buying it as a media stand, think about all the wires and the media jacks. You have a lot of them, you just don't see them when visualizing based on the plastic, non-functioning television in the displays. Or maybe that's just me. If you're looking at it just to display things, it may be great (maybe a touch on the short side though). If you're looking for a media stand, you may want to keep looking for something with a back.

This makes a great TV stand and has lots of extra space for books and display ornaments. At the same time, with the glass and sleek lines, it doesn't appear to take up a alot of space. I've purchased a number of Room and Board products now, and like the rest, the construction of this media unit is excellent and it looks like a quality piece.

The Burton shelve fit my living room perfectly. I have made several purchases of glass and steel and the shelves blend in. I was looking for a low profile storage/organization fixture and the shelves do the job in a low profile and simple way.

We use this console in our living room to hold a TV (46" flatscreen fits nicely), cable box, video game console, and stereo. We absolutely love it and friends have complimented us on the new look of our living room. The unit is solidly constructed with a nice black matte metal finish that looks like it will be durable and the glass shelves feel sturdy. My only criticism (and it's not really the fault of the console) is that, since the unit is backless, cords are easily visible, so a separate cord management system and some camouflaging are a necessity.

We also have two of the matching 74" bookshelves on either side of it. One small drawback with that setup is that the console and bookshelves are different depths, so if you put them right up against each other, they aren't flush front and back. We solved this by moving the bookshelves about 6 inches to either side of the console. This makes the depth difference less noticeable while still presenting a cohesive whole.

Overall, we are extremely happy with this console and feel we got a sleek, modern piece of furniture at a very reasonable price.

I absolutely love this piece. It looks fantastic in my living room. I have my 55" TV mounted on the wall right above it. On the console are my: AV receiver, computer printer, DirecTV box, AppleTV, Blu-ray player, and wireless router. There is room for more.

It is very well made. I love the combination of the metal and glass. I live in a very old house with somewhat uneven floors, so the floor levers came in handy.

I am absolutely delighted with this media console and would recommend it highly. I have included some photos. The room was dimly lit when I took the photos but you will a sense of the awesomeness of this media console.
