R&B sent several two tables out and each had different color wood on the inside legs. They mentioned it was, "natural," but didn't have an explanation when I asked why is the discoloration always on the inside. The obvious answer, you would never sell a piece with two different color woods on the outside. It looks like a car with different color doors.

Very diappointed.

I really love Room and Board. My house is starting to look like their catalog so I have to be careful. The exterior looks great. The woodgrain is nice. The height and depth is perfect for my narrow Victorian entry hallway.

My problem is that the drawers don't sit flush and even. Also, if you look inside at the drawers, you can see the hack job of cutting that the guy that cut the wood attempted. It looks like they either used scrap wood or just didn't care that much. Kind of shocking as everything else I've bought from Room and Board have been perfect.

This seems like an expensive item to just make the drawers so half-assed. This is hard to see but it's where the bottom of the drawer joins the wood on the back (inside the drawer) and imagine if that line is ragged like somebody used a hand saw. Hard to believe but true.

However, nobody can see it (except us) so I'm trying to make peace with it.

Returned this item. Good construction, just lacked that "something" / design felt it resembled that pre-fab stuff you put together at [@].

I use the console table as a t v stand in the master bedroom. The table is the perfect height, length and depth for the bedroom wall where I have the t. v. The cherry wood matches an all cherry dresser, and a cherry and maple dresser in the bedroom. The middle shelf under the table top holds the blu- ray player. The end shelves display books laid flat. One drawer is for remotes and channel guides. The other drawer holds miscellaneous items.

Delivery was prompt. The table was in mint condition. Customer service was available, very helpful, and extremely pleasant.

Bought this for my father's assisted living apartment. It doesn't take up too much space and holds the TV and cable box and cords. The drawers hold mail. Very pleased with way it looks and functions.
