Made from reclaimed oak used to brace railway cargo throughout the 1900’s, Howe lends historic character and a rustic touch to any dining space. The salvaged wood enhances the classic farm table design, which features solid-beam legs, mortise-and-tenon joinery and breadboard top construction. Each exclusive, limited edition piece has a brand burned into the underside authenticating the source of the oak.

I like this table and love the connection to the Zig Zag company. It's a good looking piece. I do think now that I made a slight mistake as the table really is only conducive to 6 chairs total. The sides son't seem to fit 3 due to the legs. I'm going to play around with it since we have a large family and I'd like to seat 8.

I was looking for a table that could be used every day (and that looked great). The finish on the oak means that spills can be very easily cleaned up, very low risk of leaving rings from cups and plates. The appearance is very inviting, we congregate around the table more now and stay longer, a huge plus...

I spent a long time looking for a perfect dining room table for an open floor plan townhouse. This table caught my eye at the store. It was exactly what I envisioned. It has a unique grain in the wood due to being made by reclaimed wood, and had that rustic but modern quality. You do need a long space to fit this table and it will probably only comfortably sit 6. I wipe the table down with a damp cloth to clean it.
