This is a great lamp for a tight spot--the rectangular shape of the shade means that it can stand quite close to the wall, but the size of the lamp means it gives great light output. We love it.

I love the look and the amount of light emitted from this floor lamp with a dimmer control. I am concerned about why it occasionally dims, and blinks or surges while on half-way dimmer, worrying about whether electrically, it is wired correctly or the switch works properly? The cover cord is frayed in a couple places. Switch is on floor which is inconvenient.

Lovely lamp but had to return the first one as it arrived quite bent to one side. The second was lovely but the lampshade sports a long seam that really is noticeable and we just couldn't figure out how to hide.
