The design is stunningly simple. I came across this item in a Room & Board showroom and it jumped out at me immediately. It doesn't quite light up the room, but it makes a statement about my taste in decorating. It was a little pricey, but quality costs.

It looks great, but the on/off/dimmer has to be on the floor and is VERY inconvenient to get to. The location of the switch on the cord makes it impossible to place on a table. Who wants to bend down by the side of the couch to turn the light on and off? Goofy! Looks great, but not easy to use.
