It's unacceptable for a media shelf to have no wire management. The top two cabinets don't have holes to pull wires. The bottom part doesn't either.

Unless you don't plan to use this as a media shelf, i would stay away from it.

Purchased the 44" and 23" Addison pieces. Great fit together. Tons of storage. Fits most TV's under 46". If a 46", needs to be a newer model with a very small edge. All in all great product. It's veneer - but looks great.

All positive. Ordered the wrong 23" item - drawers instead of doors. No cost to return. Quick turnaround - no questions. R&B is the best at this.

I have been shopping for about two years to find an attractive entertainment unit that would accommodate a large TV and also fulfill my personal requirements. I purchased the Addison 44w Open Media Bookcase with Drawers and Doors together with a 30w Bookcase with Drawers and a 30w Bookcase with Doors. I am most pleased with my purchase of the three units. They are beautiful in the cherry finish, which my sales rep recommended for my particular interior.

I was attracted to the Addison style because of its sturdy appearance as well as the fact that the units have a combination of open shelves to fit my numerous electronic components (which require ventilation) and closed storage space. Significantly, one has the option to purchase the desired combination of units that best fits his needs.

The Media unit's bottom section does not have a cut-out for wire management. However, the R&B local warehouse will make a cut-out upon request. Doing so, however, makes the unit a final sale.

I live in a typical New York City high-rise apartment. It was a serious challenge to get the 44w Open Media Bookcase into the elevator and my apartment. I therefore suggest that one measure your building's interior dimensions carefully before ordering.

Service and delivery comments:

The first delivery team refused to attempt to deliver the open media unit believing it would not fit into the elevator. However, my building superintendent challenged their estimate. Based on his judgement, I and my sales rep requested a second delivery attempt (two weeks later with a new delivery team),which was successful.
