Customer comments about Linear 28w 20h One-Drawer Nightstand with Wood Base:
Perfect; just the size/style I was looking for. Two negatives. The drawer insides are raw birch. In a cherry piece the drawer insides should at least be oiled and waxed to match the finish quality of the outside of the piece. It's quite a shock to pull open the drawer, and have the wood look strikingly different, and 'cheap'. Also, I ordered two. One clearly damaged during construction; a small piece was carved to fit, and glued in place to fill-in. However, very evident, and the glue color not the same as the wood color. Also, the handrubbing and/or sanding of several front edges of the other piece was not completed. Overall, lovely to look at, and very useful. But attention to detail could have been better.
