I just bought it this Christmas and have NO REGRETS!
This piece is absolutely stunning in person. Well constructed, immaculately and quietly sculptural, solid wood construction, beautiful finish. Yes, if you lean your body on it, it will tip- its on the lighter side. However, if you place a heavy vase on it, it will improve its stability some.
Not "stable" in a traditional coffee table sense- I am fine with that. Its not a heavy type relic piece like the Noguchi table, its a beautiful solidly crafted wooden piece that is perfect eye candy and on a lighter side.
It will lean to one side if you lean your body on it, however, it is not heavy, so it will not land on someone, nor hurt them. It will just kind of lift off on one edge.
Of course, if you sit on it, like Sumo land on it, it will tip and land upright. ~~
Still, one can easily put a laptop, drinks, books on it and use it normally. I have NO REGRETS!!!

We fell in love with this table in the Atlanta showroom, having made the trip from North Carolina to purchase a coffee table. When it arrived, it was quite beautiful, but when you touched it, it tipped over. There was no way to use it as a table to put a glass of wine on or dips and chips. We had to return it and get a different table, that is less elegant, but functional.

Like the other comment, I also fell in love with this table. It is light, simple, and beautifully designed. And like the other comment, it is very unstable. I wouldn't place any drinks on it. When kids lean on it, it immediately topples.

This table is so beautiful that I seriously considered keeping it even though it doesn't stand up. I mean, really doesn't stand up. I kept trying to justify it in my mind, as in, "well, drinks don't weigh that much and nobody would put their feet on anything this beautiful..." But a few friends and my husband have talked me out of keeping what is a useless piece of furniture. But seriously? It might be the most beautiful table I've ever seen. I'm terribly sad that it's not functional, as well.
