Really nice piece. I have it between a couch and recliner that are at an angle and it is perfect. Very nice finish, substantial.

Customer comments about Reef 18x17 22h End Table:
This whole line of metal-plate tables are pretty cool. The construction and welding are top notch.
My Reef table got instant attention...people want to touch it and hammer their knuckle on it, and it sounds like the side of an empty fuel or propane tank. The powdercoat finish feels something like a teflon fry pan, and is equally impervious to any type of liquid stain. You will never have a rusty ring from a sweating cocktail glass, I can assure you. The color isn't quite absolutely black. It's more like a very, very dark charcoal....meaning its about 99% black with a touch of silver in there somewhere. Hard to explain, actually, but it's black enough if you want black! It does not reflect light at all, as the surface is perfectly matte, again, just like a fry pan coating.
Overall, it has the presence of the big black monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey, but no monkeys are crawling around my table.....
I have combined this table in a room with R&B's black Parsons tables and black leather chairs for a consistent "industrial" effect. The notch in the pointy end of the table is perfect for 2 or 3 tv clickers, but not much else. Magazines won't fit without hanging over and looking silly. But clickers...especially if they're black...are perfect.
So, if you want a table that really IS an accent piece as well as a conversation piece, this line of Reef, Ellipse, Pier, Port and Hull end tables are for you.
