As is the case for so many Room and Board products, I find myself thinking "Wow, this sure seems expensive for what it is." Then the piece arrives and I am amazed by how heavy, sturdy and well-built it is. You may be able to find something that looks a whole lot like this at other retaliers for a fraction of the cost but it will not be in the same league with this piece. This piece takes two people to lift and move, and is solid as a rock. Way to go R&B.

we were hesitant because this was walnut veneer, not solid walnut, but so far we've not regretted our purchase. Looks great in our living room with the Jackson Leather sofa and Eames Lounge & Eames Molded plywood lounge.
