This is a stunning piece, with the usual amazing Room and Board craftmanship. I was taken aback by the finish, however, which is rough. I have had other "unfinished" pieces from R&B, but this one is very different. It almost feels like the grain is lifted a bit. Be sure to order a bottle of the dark Satin Wax with this shelving unit to help protect this gorgeous piece.

This piece is stunning in walnut. Classic design. Timeless style. Will last a lifetime. would keep out of direct sunlight to protect the natural wood surface. Surface is not ice smooth,so dusting is slightly more difficult than a more heavily finished piece. Quality build all around. Oh yeah, we think it looks cool, too.
