I thought this chair would look great in our living room. And it does! The scale of the chair is ideal, it has a sleek, low slung look. Its sturdy but light enough to easily move around if needed.
I'm 6' and my husband is 6'4". I was concerned about a comment (by a taller person) in a previous review about the chair hitting in an odd spot for them. But we like the "sit" of the chair.

People walking into my small living room immediately notice these beautiful chairs. Everyone wants to know where i got them and comments on the comfort. They are hard wood but still inviting to sit in. My cats can't mess them up. They are a little lower to the ground than a standard armchair. A teeny bit lower than the seats of my sectional so I was worried as to whether that would look weird, but it works great. They don't take up as much floor space as a standard armchair and allow the room to breathe.

Truth be told, this chair was my husbands choice. He fell in love with it at the showroom and pouted about it for days before I gave in. He still adores it. We both find it comfortable, he more than I do, but we are both under 5'9"... My family members who are significantly taller (6'+) say that it hits their backs badly. My personal opinion is that it looks too wide for average sized folks, but my husband likes that as part of the styling. I would have given this chair a 3 star rating and doubtless, my husband would say 5... So, I gave it a 4. I still wouldn't pick it, but a happy spouse is a good thing....
