Beautiful table! The shell finish is stunning but unfortunately not very durable.
Service and delivery comments:
I needed to write a review of this table not because it actually worked out for us, but because in the process of two returns due to finish issues the customer service was of the very highest level! I was extremely impressed by the prompt return of emails, and the courteous and thoughtful delivery people.
As I said the table ended up not working out but I wouldn't hesitate at all to purchase furniture from Room&Board again!

We ordered the 96" extension table. I thought the table itself was beautiful -- the wood was beautiful, and the look is very clean and modern. The extended length was perfect for our needs too. The only issue is that the table is too narrow -- if it was 42" (or more) it would have been perfect. It is kind of surprising that a table that long is only offered in a narrow 36" width. In addition to needing those extra 6" to make it functional (to seat someone at the end or have platters on the table), I found that it just looked too narrow. The custom tables are a nice option, but did not have the extension option that I wanted. As always, Room and Board service and delivery was fabulous. After deciding that it would not work for me, they came back and picked it up and refunded my money with no hassle at all. Although this table didn't work, I will continue to be a loyal R&B customer!

We love the sturdiness and cleanliness of the table. We especially love the extension mechanism!

Delivery guys were polite, courteous, and quick to install. They were patient in showing me how to use the table and even after having rescheduled them and having them wait for me, they refused a tip! Very professional, great guys.

We've only had it for a couple months, so I won't comment on longevity, but so far we love this table. It looks great, it's made well, and it's very versatile. We did notice some visible glue in one of the seems, but R&B's amazing customer service took care of it promptly and painlessly. We'll gladly give them more business.
