I bought a slipcovered York Sofa 10 or 12 years ago. I LOVED it.It was comfortable, stylish, tailored and very well made. After 1o yeras the cushions broke down. Rather than have new cushions made, I thought I would get a new one. It is NOTHING like the older one. The body is coveredin thin muslin opposed to my original which was beautifully upholstered in linen with a slip cover in a heavy weight cotton twill. The seams on the original were detailed with beautiful welting. The new sofa looks like a $400.00 sofa. Not even close to the quality of the sofa from 10 years ago. :(
