This desk is solidly constructed and it looks quite fashionable. The drawers operate well. I have only one complaint after having used this desk for a couple months. I use a macbook with rubber pads on the bottom. Whenever i slide the laptop on the desk surface, streaks appear on the table where the rubber pads contacted the desk surface. I'm not sure how to remove them -- rubbing them or using water does not seem to work.

Perfect size, quality construction, gorgeous walnut etc.. This was a big splurge for me and I am so happy I purchased it. I am in medical school and spend most of my time studying at this very desk. The walnut grain lifts my spirits while sweating over microanatomy late into the night. I highly recommend this to students or anyone who spends a large amount of time at their desks.

This desk is well made. The drawers are dovetail joined which means they were built to last. Maybe the other reviewer got a lemon, but mine is great not a shoddy piece at all. I love my new desk in walnut.

Saw this at the DC store. This is not a flimsy or cheap desk like the other reviewer said. I didn't buy it, but I had to jump in here because I was surprised how nice it was after reading the review and then going to see if myself. It's a tad too small for me but if it was bigger I would be buying this desk. Very solid feel and looks great in person.

Came with a wobbly leg and unseated drawer. Also, it is not solid walnut throughout despite what the description suggests.
Looks good, though.
I'd rather be charged more and end up with a quality product. Hopefully, my example is an exception.
