This is my first purchase from Room and Board. Not only am I very happy with the beautiful table, I was impressed with the efficient and professional delivery. We are really pleased with this table. The color is different and gives the eye a break from dark wood floors in our house. The finish is really nice, not too shiny but you can get marker/crayons off easily. It is the perfect size for every day use and comes with a leaf. Looks great!

we really like the look and the construction is very solid but it seems very light and airy because of the beveled edges and tapered legs.
we have been eating in the dining room much more now because it is also much cozier with no leaves in it than our old rectangular table.

We were told that the color of the table would darken slightly after purchasing, so we've left both table leaves in, so that the entire table is exposed to the same amount of light and darkened evenly. At what point does the table stop changing color enough to make it safe to store the leaves separately and not worry about colors not matching when you put them back in?Asked on 5/26/2013 by Brian from United States1 answer

The majority of the color change happens in the first year as the wood is exposed to the light but cherry will continue to subtly darken over its life. If you store the leaves separately you might occasionally pull them out for exposure to the light to keep their color balanced and close to the table.
